Dr Laila Khan is a Cardiologist and advanced echocardiography specialist based in Canberra at Complete Cardiology based at the National Capital Private Hospital. She completed advanced echocardiography fellowships at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, developing expertise in transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and structural heart imaging. Dr Khan has also completed an overseas advanced echocardiography fellowship in Greece. Dr Khan has a particular interest in valvular heart disease, structural heart interventions, heart failure, and multimodality cardiovascular imaging. She is actively involved in medical education, teaching cardiology trainees and cardiac sonographers, and is a regular presenter at national scientific meetings. Dr Khan is passionate about advancing cardiovascular imaging through education, collaboration, and high-quality patient care.
